Compost your dead body. That's right I said it.
So I was listening to the #GlobalNewsPodcast by the #BBC tonight, and they did a mini segment on a company called Recompose. Instead of being put in a pine box 6-feet underground, or burned to ashes, they reasonably-quickly turn your body into dirt suitable for planting. #Intresting #Death #Funerals #Burial #Cremation #Environment #Composting

How does one bury an atheist?

Before you think of an instantaneous response that will undoubtedly be witty to most, know that I know it doesn't philosophically matter how the dead are buried cause they are dead. I'm looking to hear pragmatic ways to go out such that the ideas of Atheism are honored. What legal tricks in a Last-Will can prevent my Christian friends and relatives from posthumously making me a theist? I know deciding what to do with a dead body gets tricky because fraudulent death is a source of stealing from insurance companies (who may deserve it), so I think there has to be a public viewing of every person's death (thus funeral homes) but is there other ways to get out of the theist system of handling death? It's a tight and profitable oligopoly.
